If you are planning to migrate your servers from staging to live by changing the base URL in Magento Admin Panel (i.e. from System → Configuration → General → Web → Unsecure Or Secure), follow the steps below to migrate Klevu Search from staging to live.
- Login into the Klevu Merchant Center with your credentials.
- From the side menu, go to Store Settings --> Base URL(s).
- Here, you may see the base URL of the staging store (For example, staging.mystore.com). Change the base URL of the staging store (e.g. staging.mystore.com) to the base URL of the production store (e.g.www.mystore.com). As long as your records (e.g. product, category, CMS page etc) have one of the base URLs provided here, the records will be indexed by Klevu.
Please note that updating the Base URL will not remove previous records. It is important that when you update Base URLs, you MUST contact support to remove records with old Base URLs. - Click on SAVE.
- In Magento Admin Panel, Go to System → Configuration
- Go to Klevu → Search Configuration
- Find Data Sync Settings panel
- Choose the option All Data
- Click on the Sync Data button
- Execute your cron.php
